Montreal seems like an awfully long time ago, I don't know if I can remember what we did!

We really only had one day here so we tried to make the most of it. We started out at the Musee des Beaux-Arts but unfortunately it wasn't open. We stopped by 'The Forum' which is where the City used to have its ice hockey games. A part of the floor is still there and there is a little ice hockey gallery.

Next stop was the City Hall where we joined a guided tour. This took us out on their balcony to give us views of the City. After that we did our own self guided tour of the old town. We saw the gorgeous silver domed Bonsecours market and the harbour front. We also visited the site of the birth of the city. The old town is very pretty and it was nice just to stroll about too. We watched a steet entertainer. We've seen quite a few now. The best one was in Quebec where a man was locked in a box and managed to swap places with a woman so she was locked in it instead.
